Definitely. Study Latin. The rules of grammar in any language were a mystery to me until I started taking Latin. It may be fossilized as a spoken language, but its study will greatly increase your kids' language, writing and comprehension skills. It will also give your kids an advantage when learning any of the other Latin-based languages -- French, Spanish, Italian, etc.

I there a point in time when the passive voice was used more regularly? I
have a habit of doing it regularly and as you brought it up, thought it
might be an interesting time to ask.

Also to those who love the study of grammer. We homeschool and I have used
'The Deluxe Transitive Vampire' for the girls to use as a good overview of
grammer. Do you have any other recomendations.
