The checklists are virtual, existing only in the minds of those who
might consider recommending someone for an award.

For example:
Minimally acceptable appearance  Check
Acceptable social Skills   Check
Minimum requirements for the award considered
a  check
b  check
c  Discuss this with him
d  Discuss this with those who know him

Actions    Hold off on writing LoR until after discussion.
