Brian MacCael recieved the the blade from Her
Serpentine Excellency, Katya, Baroness of Loch
Soilleir for his exploits on the field at Loch
Guardian this past May.  (Serpentine Excellency is
based on the device of the Loch which contains a
soillie (sp?) or a sea serpent in a circle biting his
own tail.)  The blade was one of two that were given
by Baron Bors, First Baron of Loch Soilleir, to be
given out for exploits on the field at Loch Guardian. 
One of Rapier and one for Chivarlic.  It's just taking
a little time to track down the Chiv reciepent.

before, how long has it
been used?
