That is not the point, nor is it a laughing matter.  This complaint is becoming more frequent on the lists, yet the offenders are not changing their behavior.  Either they are not on these lists, or they have so little regard for their charge to teach that they just don't care.  So what is the solution?

Would someone please cross-post this to the Pelicans, Laurels, and Knights lists?

Probably, the impolite conversationalists talk during court because they 
know that today's ruling king, even if offended, is *not* going to
confiscate their lands and rents, depriving them and their families of an
income before throwing the crass parties into a rat-infested dungeon in a
remote, dank castle on some backwash island in the middle of a leech-filled
stagnant moat....or worse...
