It's honest nest time. It's only $8 more. Folks get the 1st class and just
don't worry about it. Gee whizzzzzzzzz. And PLEASE don't say some folks
can't afford the extra 8 bucks.

Shoot more arrows. You're bound to hit something.

Greetings unto the list, regarding deliveries of the BlackStar.

Speaking from experience (as a former Kingdom Chronicler), usually all of
the newsletters are taken to the post office at the same time. The problem
comes from the "third class" postage type. To get the special third class
rate, the post office dictates when they choose to mail, and deliver, any
mail sent third class. Which means that since several people from different
regions have already received the newsletter, it's the post office that's
likely to be the problem. Most likely, your BlackStar is sitting on the
back dock of some post office between your house and Houston (where the
current KC lives). According to the third class specification, the post
office can let the mail sit _indefinitely_, until they have time to sort it.

Sometimes complaining to the post office really does work. You can go down
to your local post office, and fill out a report for a missing item. That
usually triggers a closer watch of your local postmaster for your route.
This also works if you routinely receive an opened BlackStar.

And yes, I've occasionally heard that the postman really *does* open and
read the newsletters....local and kingdom.

Umm...the mailman isn't done reading it yet? ;)
