Greetings,

    I am proud to announce the details for all rapier activities at Eldern XXV, May 9th-11th.  Site will be at Camp Cimarron near Coyle OK.  Please join us for a memorable event and be a part of Eldern history.  I have it on good authority that the prizes will be well worth any length of trip you might have to make.

    All fighters will need a 8"x12" heater shaped device to display on the tourney board.  Please have your names and titles on the back of your devices.  Throughout the day fighters will be watched and an overall most chivalric fighter from all combined lists will be honored.  There will be a new comers list Sunday morning for Rapier and Chivalric fighters.  Please pass this information on to your newer fighters.

    Eldern XXV Rapier list will be a variation of Swiss style.  Weapons and secondaries will be determined by luck of the draw.   Combatants will pick a card from one of two bags.  The drawn card is your secondary for that bout.  The last bout will be Baronesses choice.  Lord Geoffrey of the Bay, as the out-going Rapier Champion will fight any bye rounds.

    Youth Rapier will be fought between adult rapier rounds.  Her Excellency Elayne McDuncan will select her youth champion for each age group.  Honor, grace, and skill are equal in importance for this list.

    The Schlager list will be fought after the adult and Youth Rapier lists.  This will be a progressive three lives tournament.  The first round will be to first blood fought single blade that must be equal in length to your opponent.  The remainder of the list will be "Duelist Honor", you may yield to first blood or continue the fight.  As the out-going Schlager Champion, I will fight any bye rounds.

DIRECTIONS TO SITE:

Take your best route to Guthrie and Exit 157 in on Interstate 35 (20 miles North of Oklahoma City, OK).  Take Exit 157 and turn East on 33 to Coyle (Dive the speed limit watch for speed traps).  Go East through Coyle to the Cimarron River bridge.  Just Past the bridge (100 feet) turn Right on the dirt road and follow it into site.
