I would have to agree with Sir Thorkel here.  Steppes Warlord has become 
the preeminent tourney in Ansteorra, excepting Crown.  Crown is in many 
ways a very specialized tourney because of the additional responsibilities 
that come with winning the tourney.  In my experience Steppes is by far the 
largest and most fun tourney in the kingdom, regularly drawing over 100 
fighters to challenge for the title.  With is long standing tradition of 
being THE Memorial Day event in the kingdom Steppes is the best place to 
see the best fighters in general.  However you are more likely to catch 
greater individual fights at Crown because of the commitment and drive each 
competitor gives.
