Greetings,
The map on the kingdom web page was adjusted more along those lines of what
you are referring to and as stated copies are available to the chronicler I
am not sure why he has not used them. The web site version is much more
accurate. Please take a look at it and let me know privately where you see
any issues.

I am not making excuses just trying to explain so please understand that
when you start making an image small enough to fit into the Black star and
still be readable precision gets difficult. Having groups appear in as close
proximity as possible is what was wanted when the map was made and to keep
them from running together and still be visible becomes a challenge. Using
the period styles this is not so much an issue.

I did the map as a service and to replace the very basic ones that were used
before (no offense to their creator). If people want me to do another I
would be very willing to do so. If you wanted some one else to do one I
would definitely not be offended either. My thoughts in providing the maps
were to use the skills and talents I have to give a little back to the SCA
that I have gotten so much out of.
