[Ansteorra] Gothic War - Letters

Unto Godwyn Africson and Radegund of Tours, Baron and
Baroness of Bjornsborg, greetings from your
beleaguered cousins of Bonwicke,

Good gentles, your letter has just reached me, for I
am already afield putting down skirmishes that are
growing in number each day, and I must say that your
words have given me renewed faith. Your pledge is well
accepted and I thank you for it. I can add your
numbers to those of our good cousins in the Steppes,
who are bringing their war band, as well as to the
many households and fighting companies who have come
to our cause. I can only hope that our other noble
cousins have heard of the west's plight and are even
now gathering their forces to come to our aid. 

It is a grim sight that awaits you here, I wish that
your journey was at a better time so that I could show
you the hospitality that the west is famous for.
However, when we have ended this criminal's rampage,
we will celebrate our victory and then the night air
will ring with the sound of the triumphant.

I pray you a safe and speedy journey and I will be
watching the southern horizon for the bright banners
of Bjornsborg and the succour that brings.
