Speaking of blades...you would probably love mine. It was made by Master Atar from Caid...owner of Salamandar Armoury.  Master Atar ( known mudanley as Jim Hrisoulas) has been around the SCA "forever" and has taught the majority of the Caidan and other bladesmiths in the SCA.

Jim has a PHD in Metallurgy(sp?) and made the Blade the US gave the King of Norway  at the winter olympics game several years ago...which is now in the Smithsonian.

Remind me when we finally meet, which we are sure to do as I am now the MoC for Steppes to show it to you:)
