[Ansteorra] Call for Merchants : MSKD XIII

 This is a call for merchants for the Shire of Smythkepe's MidSummer Knight's Dream  XIII / "Around the Globe" to be held Labor Day weekend Sept 2-5 2005  at the Rogers Scout Ranch near Ione, AR

This is Smythkepe's big annual event which usually draws around 200 people (hey! That's big for us!). This year we will also have a special guest in attendance: Her Stellar Highness Jacqueline, Princess of Gleann Abhann. We're excited!!! The last Princess of Gleann Abhann is coming to OUR event!!!

So far, we only have a couple commitments from merchants, but we have room for up to 15 depending on how large your set-up is. Merchant's Row is near the main camp road for easy set-up and take down and is close to the main fighting field and the feast hall. 

A limited number of cabin spaces are available for a nominal charge or you can pick out your own camping area (we have 500 acres) or even camp with your wares.

As always, there are NO set-up fees for merchants (beyond normal event fees), but donations to the Shire prize chest are always welcome ;)

We'll have rapier fighting (including a Poker Run tourneyand a Ship Tourney), heavy weapons combat (including a boar hunt and a Shake-a-Spear tourney),  a quest,  A&S competitions (including performing arts), and of course lots of food (including wild boar for Saturday night feast!).

This is the perfect event for small or fledgling merchants loooking to expand their trade area. We're a small but growing Shire on the border of 3 Kingdoms and are always in search of new sources for armor, fabric, rattan and other items.
