[Ansteorra] Principality?

Good my lord...
You are preaching to the wrong people... or, at the very least, preaching
the wrong sermon (*s*)
This situation is nowhere near as self-evident as you make it out, or we
would already *have* Principalities.
I think you mis-understand the concept of what, exactly, a Principality
is...it isn't just a big Barony...or a Region by another name.
A Principality (a healthy one, at any rate) does not start as a Political
entity, and then become Social...it works the other way around.
Principalities start as a *social* division... and move from there.
A Principality is *separate*. Separate from it's parent Kingdom in all but
the highest (political and legal) functions...separate in attitude, and
proud of their distiction.

As I have pointed out before...there does not seem to (currently) be enough
of a "distinctive attitude" here to form a Principality.
People here are still all Ansteorrans. When they want to be something
different, they will be so.

So, if you want to convince a group of people that there should be a
Principality...you must first convince them that they are not Ansteorrans.

I wish you good luck.

In Service, I remain
