Unto the good gentles of Ansteorra does Sior Tomas Niallagain send
greetings,

   Elfsea's Defender Tournement fast approches and their Excellencies, much
impressed by he grandure of the Lists at Castleton, have decreed that all
who would vie for the right to be Elfsea's newest Defender need submit
letters of intent.  Additionally there shall be a great procession of
combatants and consorts,  So combatants, ready your weapons, harness,
banners, and heralds or at least be preparred to barter for the services of
a herald for the day.  Remember, you get what you pay for.  To that end, I
have also been asked to post that Lady Grania is auctioning off a loaf of
beer bread, a crock of honey butter as well as truffles, all to be used to
pay your herald with.  The individual with the highest bribe, err, bid into
her at scarlett_wolf at yahoo.com  one week prior to the event will be provided
with the items the day  of the event.
    Heralds!  Once more your services will be in demand and high regard.
