Lady Hanna,

Leine and brat are appropriate terms, but without comparing the
comments on that site with what others have written, it is hard to
know from this. I will let those more familiar with clothing styles
give a review of what is on that site.

Here are a few files in the CLOTHING section of the Florilegium which
might be of use to this new lady.
cl-Ireland-msg (88K) 7/26/99 Medieval Irish clothing.
http://www.florilegium.org/files/CLOTHING/cl-Ireland-msg.html
cl-Scot-fem-art (14K) 7/ 2/96 Scottish women's clothing.
http://www.florilegium.org/files/CLOTHING/cl-Scot-fem-art.html
cl-Scotland-msg (114K) 10/31/01 Clothing of Scotland. folding of
kilts.

This one might also have some links which would be helpful:
costuming-lnks (28K) 8/ 6/04 Links to medieval clothing by
Dame Aoife
                                        Finn of Ynos Mon.
