I posted this to the scribes lists, but figured some of you others may also be interested in this
especial exhibit in Rosenfeld (ie. Tyler, TX), during the next few months. This hand-created
Bible, has been the subject of a number of PBS and other TV programs, as well as articles in a
number of magazines.

> Subject: [Scribes] St. John's Bible Exhibit in Tyler Tx. June 9-Sept
> Greetings Scribes,
> Wanted to announce the opening of the museum exhibit of several volumns of the St. John's Bible
> project, to be show from June 9 - Sept. 3rd, in Tyler, Texas, in the northeast Texas area.
> The website can be found at:
> There are a number of lectures and workshops that also accompany the exhibit; most of the
> presenters come highly recommended. While the illumination from this Bible are more modern in
> appearance, the process of creating this work was strickly historical, from selecting and
> preparing vellum sheets, to making and applying pigments, and using quills to do the calligraphy
> - definately something of interest for the historically inclined scribes.
> During this summer, those in the Ansteorra, Calontir and Gleann Abhann regions should plan to
> check out this wonderful work, as it's kind may not be seen this region again. If you are doing
> business in the Dallas area, Tyler is a good 2 hours east, worth the detour.
> Cheers, Hillary
