Sounds like Bryn Gwlad. The predictions for yesterday sounded like 
the end of the world, but aside from the cold and having to scrape 
ice off my car windows it really wasn't a problem.
Last night we had intermittent sleet and freezing rain so today the 
pavement looks more like a skating rink. We decided to stay home from 
work, most of the schools are closed and we're still getting some 
sleet. "Everywhere you step, it crunches."

At this point, who knows? Check the forecasts on Friday.

Darn weather. If it's going to be so inconvenient, why can't it just 
snow? That way at least it'd look pretty.
