  I think Rio Grande Jewelry Supply had some nice pieces, but i havn't seen their catalog in a long time.
   
  Hammering it yourself opens a few questions.....  What type of hammer are you using?  A small ball peen works best for my taste, or sometimes you can grind a cross peen to suit.  A lot of the pattern is in how you stike the piece, and that comes with trial and error, and practice.
