I must say, while I certainty appreciate the concern for the safety of
others, and I do think that the proposed change in waterbearing policy will
have some as-yet-to-be-seen consequences, Talk of  endangering people in the
SCA  with this change really strikes me as a tad alarmist.

I have seen the SCA have problems plenty of times in the past, but each time
we rose above them, adapted, and prospered.

Lets give ourselves a little credit here.
