The Year was AS XXIX
  The Season was Christmastide
The Place was the Shire of LA March Sauvage
The Event was the Tourney of the Golden Hart

  The Shtick was
A healthy slip of a girl presented herself to the king at the behest of a Southern Sultan from the (previously thought uninhabited) savage desert.

The vehicle for this gifting was a sword dance at evening feast. The catch was the girl had gone and gotten herself married to a noble merchant the week before the royal progress arrived in the shire on the savage border of Ansteorra with the dispensation of His Excellency Dimitri Archbishop of Dallas and the South.

Much merriment insued when His Majesty with glad accord from Her Majesty summoned and chastized the groom who had been at work in the kitchen and gifted him his bride.

May the Lord Grant to him Memory Eternal

  Fothanán al AERYN
  (who was the dancer)
