I agree - we need to do something highly visible to indicate that we are 
dead but we should not be *required* to fall down.  I have two bad discs in 
my lower back so dramatic falling down is right out for me.  Instead I will 
try to indicate my loss by calling good and indicating the location of the 
good blow, bowing to my opponent, saluting my opponent with hand or sword, 
or some combination of the above.
