[Ansteorra] Should I even bother with Gulf Wars?

I was thinking of attending Gulf Wars for the second time this year, however
since I do not have a driver's license this entails getting a ride there
somehow.  Last year I took a bus to Biloxi, and was picked up from there.
When I arrived in Biloxi, the bus station was CLOSED and I stood shivering
in the cold while my ride came after having to borrow a car since his had
broken down.  I have contacted a few lists, and even one personal friend,
but I have not gotten a definite response from anyone.  I want to remain
where I am on the 13th (Arlo Guthrie is in town that day--and let's face
it--is not getting any younger!) and go on the 14th and/or 15th.  I have a
hotel reservation (at the KAR Inn) and need to be able to confirm or
relinquish it.
