I can tell you coming from an OLD school Catholic back ground (3rd generation american), we wore baboskas... it was a veil/scarf of sorts. I know all of the pictures of my ancestors I have show all of the women of married age with their hair covered. I know part of that was my ancestory as well. Viviana
