[Ansteorra] Veiling

It was something that we saw the older generation of ladies in our church do. I remember asking my dad about it and he said that it was before the church split up. The Orthodox churches still require it.

I only had to wear mine twice, once for first communion and then again for confirmation. The only thing I have left from those two days is my rosary from my first communion Godparents and my tiny crucifix necklace that my confirmation godmother gave me.

The lace veil was lost in the house fire 4 years ago.
