You should try thrift store or used (2nd hand) sports gear store like Play it Again Sports. You can often find the type of helmets that are being used in youth combat at those and generally they are ten dollars or less but definitely under twenty, or at least the ones we found were.

Does anyone have any Youth Combat helms for sale or where can I get one that doesnt cost over $100. I have looked all over the net at lacrosse helmets and they are too expensive. The child Im buying for is 11 and has a big head so an adult size might be ok. Im also looking for loaner gear for a new group in Sherman Tx.
