[Ansteorra] Another Newcomer Idea

For identifying a new person, I would not like to see Yet Another
Form, especially Yet Another Form At Gate.

For marking a new person, if they have experience in singing or
unmiked performance in theater, I think the appropriate sash to offer
to them is green with two gold trumpets: ask them if they'd like to
try site announcements.

More generally, when I go to a new social group or activity, I find it
works well to volunteer to help. People get to meet me. I feel
helpful. I don't end up standing at the edge of things watching
people do things while I'm feeling bored and scared to approach people
and lonely and self-pitying alas my selfe welladaye aye me alas.

Of course, a new person should not be *pushed* into volunteering.
Anyone who wants to volunteer does need to be fitted according to
their existing qualifications and interests, and receive training
necessary for the job, monitoring as they start, checking in as time
goes on, et cetera. For example, note that my example above was camp
heralding specifically, not heralding a tourney or a court. I think
serving feast works well.
