How DARE you insinuate either one!

"Do not bear false witness" and "Shall we sin that grace may abound?
God forbid" covers the first.  I am as honest as the day is long.

Sanctuary can only be claimed at certain churches, only under local
conditions.  So the barn cannot possibly offer sanctuary.  Besides,
men shall be there soon (even after the emptying and barring that I
have straitly ordered), so nobody could hide there for any length of
time.

I am sure that the king and queen would never so affront my dignity,
my honor, and my legal rights, as well as the duties and prerogatives
of the baron and baroness.  Though indeed I do not know yet of any
charges that have been laid against this creature in any royal court.
