Amen. It is, I believe, a duty of each Peer, whether bestowed or Royal,
to at least make a serious attempt to counsel the Crown, officers
(particularly Great Officers), and landed nobles when he/she thinks they
are in danger of going astray. It can be pretty much a hair shirt when the
Crown is unconvinced, and very uncomfortable when an officer or landed
noble is unconvinced, but I believe it to be a duty nonetheless. Knight,
Pelican, Master of Arms, and Laurel aren't titles of privilege: they're
*JOB* titles.
