I had meant to reply to a parallel thread to this one wherein Arthur replied

"sorry , no the map i saw had color keys to the side, to inform which color went with which group, and had color sections for each group, i believe someone had found a way to fill in exactly where each zip code went ? just a guess.

The color coded map I saw at the recently past Round Table was derived from 2010 zip code data.
