Indeed, Your Highness, no English dog. But a good Englishman would never let a 
Scot sit in hall at such a place of esteem to be with our dogs. :)  Remember 
Hadrian's Wall was designed to block the smell as much as the presence of your 
Scots and their Pictish neighbors.  At least the Welsh are useful around the 
hall and have good women.
