Candlemas Arts and Sciences Judging – Volunteers Needed
Their Heirs Apparent, Master Pug and Mistress Myfanwy, have asked that both 
Laurels and Irises be invited as judges to determine the next Arts and Sciences 
Champion of Bryn Gwlad.
Judging will be from 12noon to 4pm.  This does include the lunch hour, 
unfortunately, but as judging will include members of the Order of the Iris and 
will span four hours, I hope this will not be an insurmountable hardship.
Not caring much for coercion, I will not “force” (i.e. obnoxiously badger) 
anyone to judge, but hope that both Laurels and Irises will offer what time they 
can in this task.  After all, remember that all members of these two Orders once 
sat, and still do on occasion, on the other side of the table.
Should members of the Iris feel uncertain about judging, they are certainly 
welcome to accompany a more experienced individual (obviously with that 
individual’s permission) to either “shadow” that judge without submitting a 
judging form for this event, or to simply feel more secure in the completion of 
their own judging form for submission.

and Sciences judging table when you arrive.
