I'm already a capital-H Herald.

Emma is going to step up to be Wreath Queen of Arms: the one who
decides Society-wide on the registration of armory (devices, coats of
arms, badges, et cetera). She will step up in June.

It's true that black stars are far more common in Ansteorran armory.
But one of the things I cited was the Guild of European Dancers, which
is not an award and is members of the populace showing allegiance.

For someone wanting a banner to show allegiance, "Or, a mullet of five
greater and five lesser points within a bordure sable." (yellow
background, black Ansteorran star, black wide edging) is registered as
the kingdom ensign, and I believe it's for anyone to use as a general
"lookie at me, I'm an Ansteorran" flag, in the same way that a white
flag with a red cross throughout says "I'm English" or a blue flag
with a white X throughout says "I'm Scottish".
