Well, Mondrag{o'}n is a place in the Basque country in/near Spain
(choose your preposition depending on your opinion of Basque
separatism), and Mondrag{o'}n Cooperative Corporation has some fame as
a massive long-lasting cooperative system.  I gather from cursory
Googling that there is stress on the last syllable.  Maybe that had
some influence?
