However everyone who is at an event is supposed to be either a member  
or to have paid a non-member surcharge, so I think for the purposes of  
this, that would make them temporary members.
Maybe we ought to be calling the "non-member surcharge" something like  
"temporary event membership".  Although the kingdoms that don't let  
you fight without having a membership might have problems with that.  
This starts to get into shadings of law.
