One question though: How would one determine if a subject has been
discussed "enough" on the main list, before being moved off to a
One person asking it to "stop"? Five?
On my "home" mailing list, once or twice a year there is a discussion
that goes on for a week or so. They generally peter out quickly after
that. I am VERY pleased to note that the discussions on THIS list have
always (that I have noticed) remained civil and polite, with no
noticeable flame wars or name calling. (seems to be SOP here)
An earlier email referencing all the abhorrent _period_ practices we
do not do caught my eye. I am personally trying to invade one or two
Kingdoms as we speak...

I will support the crown, as long as they serve the kingdom. But I don't believe this conversation is helping anyone. The SCA is composed of folks from different cultures, religions and beliefs. We will never all agree on topics, but should respect each others decisions. We are family.
