greetings

thank you Tivar , for the information, and the memories / perceptions of
someone that lived through that " game changing " issue .
from several years , and several lists , you know I don't always agree with
your opinion, but I always have to respect that you think hard , before
voicing that opinion , and it is normally a well thought out opinion ( even
if I don't agree with it ; )
however this " game changing " issue winds up , hopefully there will be
those who remember it and use it as an example the next time a " game
changing " issue arises.
to the rest of ansteorra :
I know both sides have put a vast amount of time , energy, talent , service
, emotion and money into the sca .
I just hope that both sides can find some kind of middle ground, on this
issue ( and any future issues ), and not take differing opinions as a reason
to quit, give up , or attack others .....
it has been said repeatedly that the sca is a family .................. a
very large, spread out , dysfunctional family , with as many opinions as
there are members .
so please don't take offense when someone disagrees with you ; )
try to find out WHY they disagree with you so that you both may enjoy a
broader perspective on the issue , even if no ones opinion is changed .....
fighting helps no one, it just muddies the water so that others see no clear
path out of the conflict : (

back to researching schools, it seems I may be going to school again after
all these years , thanx to the v.a ; )

Be Safe , Be Happy, Have Fun .
Arthur
