Each competitor in a Royal List must be acceptable to the Crown. If
competing with a consort, they too must >be acceptable to the Crown.

What about:

Each competitor and each prospective consort in a Royal List must be
acceptable to the Crown.

That should cover King/Queen, King/King, Queen/Queen, King, and
Queen...should it not?

Does anybody realize how this can spin out of control? How about we stick
to the baby steps that BoD is proposing?
