Save The Date!!  February 15th-17th, 2013

The Barony of Raven's Fort will be holding a War College at The Stones
February 15th - 17th, 2013.  Gate will open at 5 pm on the 15th.  This will
be one of the last chances to get authorized before Gulf Wars in our area.
The information will be on www.ravens-fort.ansteorra.org as soon as it is
available, including various scenarios.  Remember that in Ansteorra Combat
Archers are authorized as Armored Combat fighters and Combat Archers.
Marshals for both will be on site.  

Clarification:  A Combat Archer must be authorized to go on the field with
only a bow (well and arrows or bolts).  However if you are carrying and
using weapons other than a bow you must also be authorized as Armored Combat
Fighter.  To add to the confusion, you must "prove" you can take a blow to
be a Combat Archer (if Sir Rhodri strikes your helm be prepared for your
knees to buckle and/or your helm to ring).  

Further details will follow as soon as they are worked out including contact
people for each style of fighting (Rapier, Combat Archery, Armored Combat,
Equestrian).  Come for the weekend or come for a day.
