Yes, thank you everyone, the event was great. I still can't believe the turnout we had. When I came back down from my house after taking an hour break, I went to find food and all that was left was a quarter of a jar of olives and a half jar of pickles lol, so I assume at least that the food was great. It was only my second event to ever get to go to since joining the sca a year ago (due to family and medical issues) but yeah, I thought it was great, and everyone was nice, and the things people made and can do, like wow, just amazing the skill of some folks. But yeah, thanks again everyone, hope to see you all at war of ages for another fantastic event. 

Also a special thanks to everyone from Ffynnon Gath, you guys rock socks!!!

A long time coming, but I didn't forget--

I'd like to thank everyone who came out to Laurel's Prize Tourney, last Saturday and helped make our event such a success.

The following people helped prepare and provide the sideboard luncheon that we presented and they all have my eternal thanks...

To Ernest Knight, a long time friend of my son's, who sweated for hours, over two grills, cooking the brisket, hams and chickens(which turned out to be delicious!)

To Njord, my Thunder-brother from Bjornsborg(he's in school there) who helped pack everything in the van the night before, unloaded at site (along with many others who I saw, but didn't register- Note:  you all have my thanks too!), set up, helped in the kitchen all day, helped take down and repacked the van, and who helped my husband, David, unpack the van and put everything back in the garage when we got home.

To Susan, a delightful lady who was a big help in the kitchen, kept our serving dishes full as long as the food held out and who reminded me to sit down, cool off and DRINK!

To Centurian Uther, a champion meat chopper, who stood at the sideboard, cutting and serving brisket, all without notice, when I yelled for help.

To Lord Wilhelm vonArtz, who in the best Centurian tradition, washed all the dishes and gave the ladies in the kitchen a nice show(woo-hoo, hubba-hubba), while doing so.

A Special Thanks to Mistress Seraphina who reassured me when I was panicking about not having enough food for everyone(If Seraphina sayes you have enough food, then you can quit worrying,and so I did.)

To those who did the work of organizing, Donnchad and Jan, my thanks for giving me the opportunity to cook for so many people!

To the Artisans who came to show the results of their hard work and their talents,
 and to the Laurels who gave us the benefit of their experience and knowledge 
thanks to you all and I hope you enjoyed the sideboard!

Last but not least by any means, thanks to HRM Elizabeta and HRH Gilyan for joining us at LPT.   Your presence(s) bring joy to your populace, thank you for sharing your time with us.

I had a great time doing this event.  I hope everyone who attended enjoyed themselves, had enough to eat, learned something new and is inspired to go create even more wonderful things!
