teach children and youth the basics of archery and enhance personal skills.

Woods Battlefield



A Woods battle with Melee, Bridge Battle, Capture the flag and a Ditch
Battle. Additional games based on time. Individual and small units will be
Hunter and Two Man.

*Que Loo Loo*, a child's running game

Town Square- Sports Field



There is a mother hen (adult women) with chicks (children) strung out
behind her. Each chick holds on to the coat of the one in front of it and
holds a feather. The hen has both hands free to block the wolf (another
adult). If the mother hen touches the wolf, the wolf must go back to
his/her "den", come out and try again. The wolf tries to grab a chick's
feather. If the wolf is successful in grabbing the feather, the chick has
to follow the wolf to his "den". The wolf can then devour the 'chick" by
tickling it with the captured feather." The chick then gets released back
to the hen and becomes a player in the game again.



Only one chick can be taken at a time. The hen is free to flee to her hen
house while the wolf is in route too, at, or leaving his den, but she can
only flee when all of her chicks are lined up and holding the coat of the
chick in front of them with their feathers in hand (so if the children
scream and run when the wolf attacks they need to regroup).  The hen must
get half of her chicks to the safety of her hen house within 20 minutes to
win, If not the wolf wins.

*Youth Combat Friendship Tourney*

Town Square- Fighting erics



Youth prize tournaments. Three divisions; division #1, youth six to nine
years of age, division #2, youth ten to twelve years of age. division #3,
youth thirteen years and up. Prized awarded to the victor of each division
and all ages are eligible.



List open at 9:30 AM, Armor inspection at 10 AM and tourney to begin
directly following armor inspection.

Tournament for children 16 years of age and younger. Parents must be
present for youth to participate. There will be recognition for children 12
and under and children 13 through 16 years of age.

Children's Archery Range



Open to novice archers 12 and under. This is a special tournament just for
youth.  Awards will be given for age groups, 5 -7, and 8 -12 at the end of
the shoot.
