A woods battle with Melee, Bridge Battle, Capture the flag and a ditch
battle. Individual and small units will be Hunter and Two man.



Muster will be at 12 noon with armor inspection.

Town Square- Fighting erics



Youth prize tournaments. Three divisions; division #1, youth six to nine
years of age, division #2, youth ten to twelve years of age. division #3,
youth thirteen years and up. Prized awarded to the victor of each division
and all ages are eligible.



List open at 9:30 AM, Armor inspection at 10 AM and tourney to begin
directly following armor inspection.

*Youth Fighting Scenarios*

Saturday, March 1, 2014 at 12:00pm

Hard Suit Woods battle field



Fighting Scenarios to begin directly upon the completion of the hard suit
fighters "Town of South Cashion" battle and the adults having vacated the
field.



Muster at 12 noon with armor inspection



*Scenario 1: Boromir's last stand*

Description:  Boromir is escorting 4 hobbits to the river one of which has
the ring and defends them from an onslaught of Orcs



Goal - Hobbit with the ring must reach the boat without being captured to
escape

Boromir must be hit with 5 killing blows to be defeated and ignores wounds

Hobbits can hide but may not move while hiding

Orcs have a res count of 200



*Scenario 2:  Battle in Shelob's lair*

Description:  Adventurers must face Shelob in her lair while fending off
baby spiders



Goal - Defeat Shelob and baby spiders

Shelob is played by 5 combatants

Baby spiders continuously res while Shelob is fighting



*Scenario 3: Black Gate Battle*

Description: Final Battle of Men vs. Orcs

Goal - Battle to the end.  Last side standing is victorious.

Res count of 200 for each side

*Outlands Heavy Combat Prize Tournament at Estrella War*

Thursday, February 27 - Registration at 9:00am & Tournament starts at
10:00am Special Events Field/Eric in Town Square.



The Kingdom of the Outlands will hold their annual heavy weapons prize
tournament open to all authorized heavy weapons fighters.  Sign-up for the
tournament will be held beginning at 9 a.m. with tourney starting at 10 a.m.
The fighting will be as follows:



To open, there will be up to 6 fighting fields with equal numbers of
fighters in each.  Assignment of fighters to these cells will be a mixture
from all kingdoms represented at sign-up.   Each cell will hold a 1-hour
Bear Pit tournament.  The first and second fighters will start off in a
single fight.  The loser will exit to give the name of the one who just
beat them to the Lists Mistress for their field and goes to the end of the
line.  The next fighter in the line goes in to fight the winner.  You know
the drill.  If there is a double kill, both fighters are considered to have
a loss.  In this case, 2 new fighters will enter the ring for the next
fight.  If a fighter in a cell achieves 15 wins, they are automatically in
the final and are removed from the Bear Pit.  Weapons are limited to 7.5
feet in length.



After the 1-hour Bear Pit, the top 5 winning fighters (including those that
acquired 15 wins in that cell) will move on to a Best 2-of-3, double
elimination tournament with all the pomp (double kills refought).  Draws
will be semi-random but will try to minimize the fighters having to fight
someone from their own kingdom or one they have fought before.  This will
start with two (or more) fields and dwindle to one as the number of
fighters lessons.



The victor will receive wonderful prizes gifted by Outlands artisans and
her citizens!

*The Second Annual Estrella War Hardsuit Novice Tournament*

*& The First Annual Estrella War Rapier Novice Tournament*

*Hosted by the Barony of Atenveldt*

Friday, February 28, 2014 - List and armor inspection: 2:30 PM

Town Square, Sports field



The Tournaments will be held on Friday the 27th of February, at Estrella
War XXX, in the Town Square. There will be two Lists. His Excellency Seelos
will oversee the Hardsuit list and Her Excellency Elena will have the
Rapier list.  The lists are open to all non-belted and non-white scarf
fighters of the Known World who have been fighting in their respective
disciplines for 3 years or less. Fighters are encouraged to use whichever
weapon form that they feel most competent with and may choose a different
weapon form in any round. The Tournament formats will depend on the number
of participants.



Fighters, bring your Consort and any pageantry that you can muster. If you
do not have a consort, we can help find you one. If you would like to be a
consort, please see Her Excellency Elena of Atenveldt at 2:30PM at the list
table.



We ask that the members of the Chivalry and the White Scarf come support
the young fighters and help to marshal the lists.



The Lists will open at 2:30PM and the tourney will begin at 3:30pm. All
Fighters will go through a formal inspection of armor and weapons. There
will be a medallion for the Overall Victor of each tournament, and also one
for the fighter deemed to be the most Chivalrous by HE Elena's Ladies
Gallery. The medallions and entrance favors are crafted by Duke Arthur
O'Flaherty, Laurel and Knight of the Society.

*Roses Cancer Tournament - Heavy Weapons*

Friday, February 28, 2014 at 3:00pm

Town Square- Fighting Erics



Come all fighters of cancer whether in armor or not and join us to watch
deeds of honor in support of the fight against this devastating disease.
This hardsuit tournament has a minimum donation of $5 to enter, but we will
accept any and all donations for support of the American Cancer Society.
The tournament will be run Atlantian speed format until the final 8
fighters are reached.  From that point a standard list will determine the
winners.  All 8 of the final fighters will receive wonderful prizes donated
by generous members of the SCA.



List opens & armor inspection 3 PM



There will also be a *Rapier Roses for Cancer Tournament* on Friday from
2:00pm to 4:00pm in the Town Square Tournament Eric. Please see the Special
Events Rapier Edition for more information.
