Attention Equestrians! Coastal Grand Baronials is approaching!
This weekend at the Stones at Ravensfort, Huntsville Texas.
There will be no less than 5 contests with 4 tittles up for grabs at this
event!
And so much fun to be had even by those that do not wish to compete for the
tittles.
Friday night After Dark Equestrian challenge:
Entrants can make one pass at any time between 8 and 10 pm. This challenge
is scored but not timed for the win. Max three attempts per obstacle.
Winner will be announced in Saturday morning court.
Saturday:
Before Royal Lancer will be the preliminary round for the Coastal Baronials
Championships and the Grand Champion. The first round will be an obstacle
course. It will be scored but not timed. Each entrant is allowed up to a
max of three attempts to score some challenges. These will begin as soon
after morning court as we can get started.
Royal Lancer will be run after the preliminary round of Coastal Baronials.
This will be on the same obstacle course. Each entrant will be allowed one
run that will be scored and timed. The winner will be selected by Their
Majesties from the top score/time combinations.
After lunch, about 2:30PM will be the finals for the Coastal Baronials
Championship. All equestrians are encouraged to participate but only the
Finalists scores will count for the Championships.
Before the afternoon contests you may declare if you wish to be considered
for championship responsibilities. (yes, a drop out round but you still
get to play!)
The Finals challenges will consists of a spear toss and catch, an egg carry
challenge and passes at the quintain. The entrant with the highest
combined score will be declared the Grand Champion. Ravensfort, Loch
Sollier and Stargate will be choosing their Baronial Champions from among
the finalist based on selected criteria.
Authorizations will happening in the morning for those needing one. Other
games may occur if we have time and energy.
