To all who read this missive, greetings!


Another amazing event has come and gone, and again, we struggle to put into
words the greatness of Bryn Gwlad.



To our event stewards, Gavin and Wentiliana- Thank you. You took a
wonderful idea and ran with it. We cannot tell you how many accolades we
received on your behalf Saturday, but they were effusive. (Also, the
marshmallow crossbows? Too cool!)



To our outgoing Champions, Duke Kein MacEwan, Lady Millicent Rowan, Lord
Ronald MacRobert, and Viscount Galen of Bristol- Thank you. Thank you for
representing us, for being our friends, even more than our Champions, and
for running stellar tourneys to help select your successors.



To our incoming Champions, Sir Ysfael Bryndu, Master John Drake, Lord
Wolfram Gottfried, and Lady Eva Deveraux- We are excited to have you as our
Champions and we look forward to your counsel and companionship.



To our Gate Coordinator, Lady Ysmeralda- Thank you for running a smooth
gate. To those who worked Gate, especially unexpectedly, thank you for
making the first sight at our event your smiling faces. Lord Edward, thank
you for keeping the books straight and making sure all our little financial
ducks are in a row.



Thanks to our Feast Steward, Lord Wolf de Ganger, for a delicious feast.



Mistress Shaundra, thank you for wrangling servers, and servers, thank you
for making everyone's feast more enjoyable. An especial thanks to the
children who served, because of your generosity, we know that the
traditions of service to others will continue in Bryn Gwlad.



Lady Safiyya, our thanks for announcing the courses, and for your help
behind the scenes. For every minute we see amazing things in public, there
are countless minutes spent making it all happen and you are all
appreciated.



Lord Jean Raimbaut, thank you and the Sable Shield community for allowing
us the honor of hosting the first Sable Shield tournament.



To our populace and friends- We are so grateful for you. For your help,
your encouragement, your friendship, and your support- NONE of this is
possible without you. You keep us going, keep us smiling, keep us laughing
and mostly, keep us sane.



To our friends who visited our lands- Thank you for sharing in the magic of
our day. Thank you for sharing our time, and our hospitality. We are more
grateful than you know.



To Mother Nature- Thanks for the payback for last year. The weather was
LOVELY and we appreciated it!



To Their Majesties, Gabriel Rex, Sonja Regina- Thank you for sharing your
valuable time with us. Thank you for recognizing all the amazing things our
members do in service to this shared dream, and thank you for all the
laughter.



To Their Highnesses, Jason and Margherita- Thank you for visiting us and
for being gracious, kind, funny and generous.



In short, thank you. Thank each and every one of you for being part of this
day.
