[Ansteorra] Ansteorran Story Corps

Recently there was online discussion around the idea of starting an
Ansteorran Story Corps - on a regular basis (bi-weekly or monthly),
proposing a single writing prompt, and inviting anyone to share what
stories they might have around that concept. The stories would then be
gathered and documented for publication on the History Wiki.   The idea
garnered some interest, so here we go.  (Please note that replies to this
thread and future "Story Corps" threads will be assumed to grant consent
for publication to the wiki, and I'll chase you down for a proper Content
Release if I don't have one on file.)

For the inaugural question:

Tell me about a Sovereign of Ansteorra, past or present, whose behavior or
leadership help crystalize your personal definition of the ideals of the
SCA (aka "The Dream"), and what it was they did that helped you to that
realization.
