I would agree that this email list is a reasonable place to exchange opinions and engage in dialogue. Those who feel spammed have technology at their fingertips and can delete emails with ease. Those who are interested can follow or join the discussion. Forbidding the list’s use for this purpose denies its members both visibility into perspectives and any choice about participating.
