Fearghus will address the "Handbook".

You did not misread the book or the rules. Lord Agnar has made a great
start but there are many errors in that book as much of the information is
old and out of date. Don't refer to that book for ANY rules. Instead go to
the official web sites.

For IKAC and IKCAC that will be http://www.dellarco.com/ontarget/.
Remember IKAC and IKCAC rules can change from year to year and you should
always look for rules for your current year. Currently you need to be
looking for the rules for the XXIII Annual Interkingdom Archery Competition
Updated 3/1/2000 as they are all that is official for this season.

That book should be considered a "guide" and not the official word. For
Ansteorra all that is official resides within the Complete Participants
Handbook. Anything else is suspect.

We will be working to revise the book. Sections such as rules for IKAC and
IKCAC will be removed and the reader will instead be pointed to the official
web sites. We will not duplicate portions of the Complete Participants
Handbook either.

Regards,

Eadric
