Greetings and Hi There,

OK, guys the talks of the last few days have been good, believe it or not.

I think we can do something here that just might help out some.

What I'm going to try to do is write up a propossal to give to the Kingdom
Archery Marshal.  Something like this I think well require some top down
emphassis to work around the Kingdom.  This is only a *draft* to start with.
Input and discussion is a good thing.


OK, let's lay a little ground work.  In the new Society regs on target
archey, under the heading Responsibilities of Target Archer Marshals,
paragragh 11 states:

11.  As part of their duties, Target Archery Marshals are responsible for
ensuring that
     all archers are familiar with and comply with the SCA and Kingdom
Target
     Archery Rules. This may be done either by verbal briefings or by
requiring the
     archers to read the posted rules.

I propose that in addition to this we add that we require the Marshal in
charge of the shoot to either have in addition to the posted rules a sign
directing new persons to archery to  ask for asisstance and if there is
loaner gear present at the range; or, a disgignated greeter to be proactive
in asissting those new to archery at that range.


OK.  Now we need to word this in a manner *WE* can live with and *do*.  If
we can't live with it and make it happen, what's the point?

Be nice.  This is what is called brain storming or is that brain bashing?
