[Ansteorra-archery] Gulf War - Combat Archer Going

I know that Fearghus has expressed some concern that he seldom hears from
the SAM. It is a real shame that in a time when there has been so much
change and upheaval the SAM has not been more available. It is getting to
the point that there are almost weekly complaints on the SCA Missile Combat
list about the lack of attention.

It is also a shame that we all have become so dependant on email that we
cant remember what it was like back when we had to call people or actually
write a letter and put it in the post. Of course they don't even publish
the address and phone numbers of the lesser society officers like the SAM.
If these folks are not going to have reliable email that they use and
respond to regularly then they sure ought to publish their phone numbers and
postal addresses in the TI.

Has anyone called emailed or called the SEM to express concern (not
complain) about the lack of attention we are getting from the SAM? Every
time I have emailed the SEM I have gotten some sort of response and despite
the fact that he is not well liked in many archery circles because of the
new APD requirement his responses to me have always seemed thoughtful and
reasonable.
