What works for others is great, I know Sir Jon is a good man and good for archery, and I'm sure many good people do this but... 
<Rant>
Our archery practices are unfortunatly NOT everyday.  Maybe it's having been in Boy Scouts for Fourteen years in one capacity or another or coming from an immediate family invloved in Scouting for a combined 100 + years but if I put something in writing. Say daily archery practices, I'm going to do it or have a better excuse for not doing it than "Oh I just said that so we can put up more scores in the IKAC.  I didn't really mean it."

Once again what works for others is great but if the work around is that easy then get rid of the rule.  Don't make people be deceptive.  What promotes Archery is good,  what promotes deception in the name of better scores is in doubt in this local Deputy Marshal's eyes.
