[Ansteorra-archery] What are things that are keeping outCombatArchers of the field?

As has been all ready said it is not 100% safe to be on the field when
fighting is going on. There is no way to make what "we" do on the battle
field 100% safe for non contact fighters. If you are out there as a
"fighter" or a marshal for that matter you may get hit. If you absolutely
can not get hit then unfortunately you should stay of the fighting field.
Not intending to be smart, nasty, or what ever that is just how it is. if
you wish to be involved with the fighting but not be on the field you could
"work" as a water barer (they are never enough of them) on the side of the
field. You are close to the fighting but not on the field, you may have
missiles come you way but fighters that come over to you should be dead
looking for water. They may make all manner of proposals to you after you
give them water.
