[Ansteorra-archery] period bow

well i guess my bow could pass as a period bow. Does my arrows all have to be period to count? And since we are on the subject  or royal rounds I was curious if I was shooting a royal round with a crossbow do the same rules with the timed round apply? that would kinnda suck , considering the reload time and rate of fire. Just wondering .

determine if there is support for the notion of Peerage recognition for
fields of Society Martial Arts other than Rattan combat. If you feel that
those who display Peer-like behavior in such fields as Fencing, Archery,
Siege Engineering, Equestrian, etc are worthy of Peerage recognition, or
believe that they do not, we invite you to make your opinion known, and
would ask that you invite others to express their views on the matter as

Hi all, am I truly the only person who is shooting a period bow? Or is it
that the people who do shoot period only have a score that is over a year
old..or arent being reported?

Few people are submitting period scores, but there a few.  Most of them 
are crossbowmen who do not have the necessary away scores or don't have 
three scores within the years period so they don't appear on the list of 
current averages.

Note that on the Aug 27 IKAC update you are the only person who has 
submitted a Period IKAC score for Ansteorra in the Handbow division and 
Padraic and Ulrich are the only two who have submitted Period Crossbow 
scores for the IKAC.

Hmmmmm...Ive been doing period shooting as well.  I dont know why they arent up there.  I know I need the away score though.  One of these days, I may even be able to get off work to go to an event, if the planets align properly.  ;D

You have two period scores in the system within the past year so even if 
you had an away score (which you do not) you still would not have an 
official average.
